The City Builds Itself (Then Immediately Breaks It)
Top Story » Devlog

The tile-based world builder’s gotten smarter: grid snapping, rotation hotkeys, live preview tiles that follow the cursor. You can lay out entire streets in seconds. Then I dropped in cars. They drive, drift, and crash. Which led to breakable light poles. They spawn dynamically, fall over when hit, and make a satisfying mess when they do.
NPCs now spawn through timed spawners and follow walkable node paths across the city. Drivers are fully AI-controlled and occasionally behave. Cars also have floating health bars now, when they take damage, you see it. The city reacts just enough to feel alive, but not enough to stay intact for long.
